Hi, I'm Frank.
Welcome to my page. Whether you're a friend, family member, client, or a stranger who stumbled onto this page, thank you for checking it out. Hopefully you're enjoying what you've seen up to this point!
Fitness has been part of my life from the very beginning. It started with tee-ball; eventually basketball came along, followed by football in the streets with my buddies on what seemed to be an everyday basis. In high school, I played both baseball and basketball, before dedicating myself strictly to baseball, which I went on to play at Queens College. After two years on the diamond, I decided to hang up my spikes to focus on my degree in Exercise Science & Nutrition, receiving my Bachelor's degree in May of 2015.
While my life has always revolved around sports, I wasn't introduced to strength training until I was 14 years old. I'm not going to lie...I initially hated everything about it. It wasn't appealing to me whatsoever, from the soreness, to the treacherous workouts that felt like they would never end. I stuck with it though, and eventually it slowly, but surely started to grow on me.
By the time college came around, I had a decent grasp on most exercises. I wasn't a complete newbie in the weight room like most of the freshmen when we started our strength & conditioning program. This is when everything started firing on all cylinders. I was showing people how to do certain exercises. I was lifting just as much, if not more, than some of the upperclassmen on the team. Our weight room was far from impressive, between the poor air circulation, and crowded setting of 30 other guys trying to complete their program around you. It was in the Queens College weight room, however, where I found my passion in the field of fitness.
Today, I've assessed and worked with hundreds of individuals from different walks of life. From Major League Baseball pitchers looking to stay healthy throughout their season, to the elderly grandmother just trying to live a pain free lifestyle, I have been lucky enough to observe and learn from every single client that I've ever encountered. Everyday is a new opportunity to practice, experiment, and learn, which allows me to fine-tune my coaching skills.
While I'm not on the floor coaching, or creating content for you guys, there's a good chance you could find me at the local Starbucks or driving range during the summer. Hobbies of mine include reading, listening to country music, and cooking. Want to learn more about me?
